Personal Training

Personal training sessions are available on request and can combine a mix of all the training principles we offer at the studio, as well as many other techniques specific to our team's portfolio. Alongside in-depth consultations, regular weigh-ins and body stats analysis, you'll soon see the benefits of a customised fitness programme. You can also call on our nutritionist to work alongside your training programme, giving you a personal plan that's right for you and your individual needs.

Monitor Me is a excellent tool to ensure you stay on track with your fitness goals without the hefty Personal training price tag. An initial 45 minute session includes our 'ON TRACK' questionnaire, weigh-in, BMI testing, fat percentage measuring and vital body stats, as well as a basic discussion about diet and nutrition. We'll take at look at your current fitness schedule and devise a personalised fitness schedule including what mix of classes you should be doing, how often and how best to stay motivated- in essence, ensuring you work outside of your comfort zone rather than sticking to what you know all the time – a bit like your fitness guardian angel! Follow up sessions will be shorter and ideally every 6 weeks to ensure you are ON TRACK.

Nutrition Consultation

Good nutrition is essential for good health. The food that you eat can be the difference between feeling merely okay and feeling on top of the world - both mentally and physically. Indeed nutrition can be utilised in a myriad of ways, from increasing energy levels to enhancing mood.

Our on-site nutritionist is passionate about how fitness and food work hand in hand to keep us in peak condition. Like us, she is a genuine advocate of the TRAIN. EAT. RECOVER. REPEAT mantra. Much of her time is spent designing recipes and investigating new ingredients to facilitate ways of helping people get their seven portions of fruit and veg a day. Superfoods are the mainstay of much of what she creates. Stop by the Recovery Cafe and you’ll find her waxing lyrical about disease fighting antioxidants, good fats and slow releasing carbs. Better still ask her to put a spoonful of one of her magic potions in your smoothie and feel the power packed benefits for yourself.

Each individual has a different relationship to food and therefore different requirements. For that reason our nutritional consultation takes a tailored approach that suits each client’s individual needs and, as a result, gives tangible results.

As well as working closely with The Food Doctor in Harley Street, Rhiannon has collaborated with Gregg Wallace of Masterchef and is currently an ambassador for Teapigs’ Matcha green tea. Rhiannon’s career has seen her work with dieticians in NHS hospitals and hospices across the UK. She prides herself on implementing small changes that make a big difference to people’s wellbeing.

Here are just some of the issues that we can help you with:

Weight Management

Whether you’re striving to lose, gain or maintain weight, we can set you on the right track and monitor your progress throughout.

Expectant Mums

Expect advice during pregnancy and guidance through the early years of weaning, infancy and childhood. Nutrition plays a vital role in increasing your child’s chances of a healthy life and kickstarts their cognitive development.

Childhood Obesity

Obesity and overeating is on the rise. We can help give your child the best possible start in life and teach you ways in which optimise their health.

Baby Weight

Shedding post pregnancy weight can be a struggle. Consultations can be extended to home visits where we can work on recipes, fitness and how to keep weight off.

Specific Conditions

Everyday symptoms such as bloating, flatulence, skin conditions, fatigue and PMS are a sign that your body is not working to its full potential. By identifying what imbalance is at the heart of a specific health condition, we can help you overcome it.

Endurance sports and competitive training

If you’re planning on participating in a marathon, triathlon, cycle sportive or Iron Man event, getting your nutrition right is just as important as your training. Even the best exercise programme, in the absence of a good eating plan, will disappoint. But get it right and you’ll maximise progress, optimise peak performance on race day and improve your recovery. Taking your individual training needs and event calendar into close consideration, our nutritionist can work with you on eating plans, nutrient timing, digestive health, hydration strategies and bone and joint health. Add regular appointments with our sports massage therapist - to relieve tension, reduce the risk of injury, aid flexibility and increase recovery time - and you've got yourself a 360 degree training programme.

Personalised Post Natal Programme

A great way to start off your training schedule until you feel ready for group classes, this personalised programme takes into account the needs and desires of you and your post natal body. Women who exercise after pregnancy notice big positives. Not only does it speed up your recovery and help you regain your pre-pregnancy fitness levels, it also boosts your mood, releases feel-good endorphins and increases your energy. For many new mums the biggest plus of all is getting some much needed time to themselves.

Clearly your body has gone through some pretty dramatic changes, so we'll start things off with an in-depth consultation to establish your current physical condition and your end goals. We'll be sure to take everything into account, from the kind of birth you had to the condition of your pelvic floor. From there we'll devise a bespoke exercise programme that's created purely for you and your individual requirements. It might include some one-to-one training sessions to raise your fitness levels and chances are there will be a focus on core strengthening, but one thing's for sure, our 'whole body' approach will ensure that you work towards an all-round stronger, fitter and leaner physique. Most importantly we'll make sure you do it safely.

We'll monitor you every step of the way with regular weigh-ins, BMI testing, fat percentage analysis and plenty of discussion about healthy eating and nutrition. We're experienced in assessing abdominal separation (diastasis recti), pelvic floor issues and many other post natal conditions, we also work regularly with women post cesarean. As you progress, we'll mix up your schedule to ensure you keep motivated and stay challenged. Put like that, post natal recovery doesn't seem that daunting after all, does it!?
